Writing Celebration

The students have been working hard to write their first books in Writer's Workshop.  Our first attempt as authors was writing "I like...." books.  Students brainstormed topics of different things they liked and then wrote and illustrated about them in their books.  At the end of the writing unit, students spent time reading their books to each other.
